The difference between a refrigerated dryer and a vacuum dryer can be a world of difference. As the saying goes, 'A tiny difference can lead to a thousand miles of error.'. Please also pay attention to the difference between the two (refrigerated dryer and vacuum dryer) when purchasing.

1. Cold air dryers do not consume compressed air: Most users do not have high requirements for the dew point of compressed air, and using a cold air dryer can save energy compared to using a suction dryer;

2. Cold dryer without valve wear: The suction dryer has a problem with switching valves, although there are also valves in the cold dryer, there is basically no wear problem;

3. The refrigerated dryer does not require regular addition or replacement of adsorbents;

4. Low operating noise of the refrigerated dryer; The suction dryer produces noise from the pressure relief of the adsorption tower, and in the air compressor room, the operating noise of the refrigerated dryer is generally not heard;

5. The daily maintenance of the refrigerated dryer is relatively simple, as long as the automatic drain filter screen is cleaned on time;

6. The pre-treatment requirements for the air source of the refrigerated dryer are not high, and a general oil-water separator can meet the requirements for the intake quality of the refrigerated dryer;

Compared with adsorption dryers, the pressure dew point of compressed air treated by refrigerated dryers can only reach above 0 ℃, so the drying depth of gas is far less than that of adsorption dryers.

According to the regeneration method of adsorbents, there are two types of adsorption dryers

It can be mainly divided into two types: non heat regeneration adsorption dryer and heat regeneration adsorption dryer. Due to the fact that the non heat adsorption dryer operates on isothermal adsorption, also known as "pressure swing adsorption"; The hot adsorption dryer works by isobaric adsorption, also known as "temperature swing adsorption". In practical use, there is also a type called micro heat dryer. From a formal perspective, micro heat regeneration dryer also heats the regeneration gas. However, because the regeneration gas it uses comes from dry air with low moisture content, it also belongs to the "pressure swing adsorption" dryer.
