How to choose a suitable refrigerated dryer for screw air compressors?

As a post-treatment equipment of screw air compressor, the refrigerated dryer is an essential component of the air compressor. However, due to the diverse types of refrigerated dryers available in the market, users may find it difficult to choose. So, how to choose the appropriate refrigerated dryer? We can start from the following aspects:
1. Select based on the exhaust temperature and pressure of the screw air compressor. When the exhaust temperature is higher than 35 ℃, it should be considered to install an aftercooler before the refrigerated dryer and oil removal filter to reduce the gas temperature to below 35 ℃. When the exhaust pressure is below 0.5 megapascals, it is not advisable to use non heat regeneration and micro heat regeneration dryers. Instead, external heating, waste heat, and internal heat regeneration drying devices with large filling capacity and deep adsorption should be used. When the exhaust pressure is below 0.2 megapascals, it should be subjected to secondary treatment by a hot regeneration drying device after the refrigerated dryer to achieve a better drying effect below -40 ℃.
2. Choose according to the type of screw air compressor. If an oil lubricated compressor with an oil content index greater than 15mg/m3 is used, it should be equipped with a high-efficiency precision filter and an externally heated micro heat regeneration cold dryer should be selected.
