Advantages of piston air compressor:

1. The applicable pressure range is relatively wide, and piston air compressors can be divided into low pressure, medium pressure, high pressure, and ultra-high pressure. When the exhaust pressure fluctuates greatly, the displacement of piston air compressors can maintain their own technical reference values.

2. Strong adaptability, piston air compressors have a wide range of displacement, and can be used in many other fields such as petroleum, chemical, mining, metallurgy, machinery, construction, and outdoor operating environments. Moreover, most piston air compressors are mobile and integrated with the body for storing air.

Disadvantages of piston air compressor:

1. Gas oil stains have a high composition.

2. The speed should not be too high, as it is limited by the inertia force of reciprocating motion.

3. The exhaust pressure cannot be continuous, and there are significant fluctuations during the inflation process.

4. High noise level, high maintenance cost, and many vulnerable parts.

It is mainly composed of the body, crankshaft, connecting rod, piston group, valve, shaft seal, oil pump, energy regulation device, and oil circulation system, and is a type of displacement reciprocating compressor.

Advantages of screw air compressor:

1. High reliability: The screw compressor has fewer components, no vulnerable parts, a long service life, and a major overhaul interval of up to 80000 hours.

2. Simple operation and maintenance: The maintenance cost in the later stage is greatly reduced, and unmanned operation can be achieved.

3. Good pressure balance: The screw compressor has no unbalanced inertia force, and the machine can work smoothly and at high speed.

4. Strong adaptability: Screw compressors have the characteristic of forced gas transmission, and the displacement is almost unaffected by the exhaust pressure, ensuring high efficiency over a wide range.

5. Multiphase mixed transmission: The rotor teeth of the screw compressor have gaps, making it resistant to liquid impact and capable of compressing gases containing liquid, dust, and easily polymerized gases.

6. Good energy efficiency: The maximum cost of air compressors during use comes from electricity output, and screw air compressors can greatly save electricity consumption.

7. Can filter out impurities in gas: Screw air compressors can filter out oil, dust, and moisture in gas, making the gas cleaner!

Disadvantages of screw compressors:

1. High cost: The production cost of the screw air compressor unit, motor, and electric motor has high requirements, so the factory cost is higher than that of the piston air compressor. In addition, there are also high requirements for the machining accuracy of the screw compressor cylinder.

2. Not suitable for high-pressure applications: Screw air compressors are mostly used in factory workshops, so their designs are mostly fixed and not convenient for outdoor use. Moreover, they are mostly suitable for medium and low pressure exhaust pressures, generally not exceeding 3.0Mpa.

3. Cannot be made into micro: Screw compressors rely on gap sealing gas, and currently only have superior performance when the volumetric flow rate is greater than 0.2m3/min. They are bulky and not convenient to carry.
