Screw compressor is a type of positive displacement compressor, and the compression of air is achieved by the volume change of the teeth of the male and female rotors that are installed in parallel and mesh with each other inside the casing. The rotation of the rotor pair within its precisely matched casing causes periodic volume changes in the gas between the rotor teeth, which moves along the rotor axis from the suction side to the discharge side, completing the three working processes of suction, compression, and exhaust.
